FARMHOUSE AT SANGADA

Hospitality

The plot is a contoured site with a large green cover sloping down towards the lake. The design of the built structure is on the largest chunk of flat land available with no tree cutting.

The farmhouse has been designed so as to maximize the view towards the water body. The spaces are at different levels with a play of sloping roofs.

The living room, with double height and large glazing, becomes a part of the landscaped green outside. The dining hall at a higher level overlooks the living space and can be extended into the green courtyard for larger gatherings as a spillover.

The family space and the master bedroom open up into the swimming pool deck at the upper level, blending with the green contours beyond.
